11 January, 2010: Vee Nine, AKA Music Collector 9
Just minutes ago we released Music Collector version 9 (Windows), the long awaited major upgrade.
With version 9, you can finally catalog *both* your CDs *and* your music files (MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE, OGG, etc..).
Plus there's a super-easy new Add Albums Automatically screen and a cool new "Vee Nine" look for the Details Panel, in 3 styles.

21 December, 2009: Movie Collector 6.6: MCE Viewer
Movie Collector 6.6 (Windows) is all about the MCE Viewer, accessible for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Vista/Win7 based Media Center users.
What's New:
- New Tiles view: based on Wall view, but without the movie info popup
- New Fields: Seen It, Location, Storage Device, Storage Slot
- New Search option on Seen It field
- Improved usability when using a mouse

Existing version 6 users, just download and install the upgrade. Use your current Movie Collector software to install the latest version.
Clz Movies customers: please upgrade your software too.
We also added the Seen It field to the Clz Movies export, so that you can finally use the new Seen It tab in the iPhone app.

23 November, 2009: Connect your collection
It's been 4 months since the launch of our first Connect module, Movie Collector Connect. We have received many great suggestions and feature requests from the first trial users and subscribers. As a result we have released a big update to Movie and Book Collector Connect that introduces the most commonly requested features and streamlines the syncing process.
Here's what's new:
- You can now upload your own Cover Images, on the Edit Movie page in Connect, or just upload all missing cover images in batch from Movie or Book Collector.
- The Format and Genre fields can now be edited in Connect and are now uploaded when syncing UP from the desktop software (Windows or Mac).
- Several improvements to prevent unwanted changes to local data when syncing down from Connect to the Collectorz.com desktop software.
- Several improvements to the Linking process.

To use the new synching and linking features, you need the latest version of Movie or Book Collector for Windows or Mac. Just use Check for Update in your existing version to upgrade if necessary.
Tip: after installing the new version, use the Synchronize screen to UPLOAD to Connect once to upload missing images and your data for the new fields.

12 October, 2009: Book Collector Connect
Collectorz.com Connect is our new fully online cataloging service. This is a subscription based product next to our Windows, Mac and iPhone software.No downloads, no installs, just log in with your browser from any PC, Mac or Linux computer or any mobile device. Your data is securely stored on our servers, and backed up daily.
The first Connect module Movie Collector Connect was released on July 27.
Now Book Collector Connect is ready for you.
If you want to test drive Book Collector Connect, register your trial account and try Connect for 30 days. When you like what you see, purchase your Connect subscription.
Existing Movie Collector Connect users can just click on the new purple Books tab in their Connect account to try Book Connect.
Book Collector Connect has a seamless syncing option with our desktop software for Windows and Mac. Book Collector customers using the latest version 6.3.1 (PC) and 3.3.1 for Mac can sync their entire collection to a Connect trial account to see how online cataloging works.
With Connect you can share your collection with friends and family by just sending them your personal weblink. Do not worry, this is a View-Only mode, nobody can change or edit your data but yourself.
We will be fine tuning Book Collector Connect in the upcoming weeks but our programming team has already started on the third module, Game Collector Connect.
