Mobile applications are a big part of Collectorz.com and they are only going to be more important in the future. At the moment we offer dedicated apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch under the brand name CLZ.And the good news is that we are working on Android and iPad apps, Blackberry apps will be released later this year too.
If you're interested in either one or both apps, please sign up for the Preview Club to be one of the first to know about its release.
Preview Club members will receive emails (not too many of course) about our progress and will be the first to download and use the applications.
Club members also have instant access to a Preview Page with sneak screenshots, which includes a Q&A section with answers to common questions.

It's finally here, Movie Collector 7 for Windows!And this is the biggest upgrade we have ever released.
We're particularly proud of the new Find Cover Image tool. It lets you find missing covers using a Google Images search and add them to your movie entries with just one click.
And there's lots more. Here's a quick overview of what's new:

Six days earlier than announced we released Comic Collector Connect.Comic Collector Connect is:
* A way to share your comic collection online and to access it from any computer, including mobile devices. Just choose the Upload feature in Comic Collector to put your list online. Then simply email the link to friends and family to show off your comic list.
* A full online comic cataloging tool for adding, editing, browsing, sorting and searching your comic collection. Running inside your web-browser,no downloads, installs or upgrades needed. Just go to the Connect website and log into your account to manage your comic collection.
Plus:
* All software upgrades are automatic and included in the subscription fee.
* Your data is securely stored on our servers, and backed up daily.
* Seamless access to all your collections with one easy log-in.
(DVD, book, game and comic modules available now. The music edition will be released in a few months).
With Comic Collector 4.6 for Windows you can synchronize your data back and forth between your local computer and your Comic Collector Connect account.

Comic Collector Connect
This is a full online comic cataloging tool for adding, editing, browsing, sorting
and searching your comic collection. Running inside your web-browser, no downloads, installs or upgrades needed. Just go to the Connect website and log in to your account to manage your comic collection.
You can even browse your collection from any mobile device.
Connect is also a great way to share your comic collection with friends and family, by placing it online, on Collectorz.com servers. Simply email the link to friends and family to show off your comic list.
We are planning to release it on June 29.

16 April, 2010: New scanner available, the C37
We have just added a third scanner to our supported scanner range, the Opticon C37.This new model fits nicely between the basic CueCat swiping scanner and the more expensive Opticon OPN-2001 laser unit.
The C37 is a durable CCD scanner with a wide optical window. With its aggressive scan engine the C37 operates at a speed of 200 scans per second. Just point it and you receive audio feedback after a successful scan.
The scanner is fully compatible with the Windows and Mac OS X edition of Book Collector, Movie Collector and Music Collector, plus with Game Collector. Also works beautifully in our web-based service Connect for movies, books and games.
No special support, batteries or drivers are needed, it is a plug & play USB device. Just make sure the cursor is in the barcode/ISBN box before scanning a code.

"First off, I have to say how much I absolutely LOVE your programs! The days of having to manually create my own unwieldy spreadsheets to track my collections are over!
I currently use Game Collector Pro to catalog my 1,083 video games, Movie Collector Pro to catalog my 517 DVDs and BluRays, and I just added Book Collector Pro to catalog my book library and video game strategy guide collection... and of course the CLZ Games, Movies, and Books iPhone apps so that I know what I actually have while browsing my favorite brick-and-mortar stores.

"For many years I have been a Collectorz user, something like 8 years I believe.I have Music Collector, Movie Collector and Book Collector. I am now the proud owner of Photo Collector. I haven't tried Photo Collector yet but if it turns out to be like your other products, then I will be very pleased.
Your products are the best and your technical support, of which I have only had to use once or twice (because your products work so well), is fantastic.
I am a software and database developer and therefore very picky about software and how it functions. You are definitely doing a great job.

The Best Products
"A big thank you for the best products for cataloging.
I have moved house and it was absolutely essential to tick everything back to the database from hundreds of boxes to ensure I had everything.
Especially as I have 55,463 old time radio programs on about 50 disks on the MP3 program, 1,327 classical music CDs, 1,067 Books and 183 DVDs on your other programs."

"First, you need to understand that I'm not the kind of guy who rights these kinds of e-mails. Second I've been working with, on and around computers for over 30+ years as a programmer, consultant and power user.You guys are, without a doubt, the BEST company I have EVER purchased software from. You're website says you answer in 24 hours, and it's TRUE!
You have always been fair in the way you charge for software (I have 5 of your products on my computer, and 4 on my iTouch). You have worked with me on group purchases, you have worked with me when I lost registration keys and had hard drive crashes and you have worked with me on compatibility issues.
But most importantly you have worked WITH me as I have worked to get all of my various collections in order. If the water in Amsterdam is what is behind on this, bottle that stuff and make a mint!
